Who We Are

Woof is building the next great American pet brand - bringing new life to the industry through elegant, intuitive product design. Proudly recognized among America’s fastest growing CPG companies, Woof is reinventing stagnant sectors to solve real problems for pets and their people.

This is evidenced by our three award-winning product ecosystems - The Pupsicle, BullySafe and Bite n’ Brush - all revolutionizing dog care by providing wellness solutions in a fun and engaging way.

Today, we are experiencing extremely rapid growth, and as such we’re seeking experienced people to take the company to the next level. If you’re passionate about meaningful work, have a bias towards action, and love dogs as much as we do we’d love to have you on our team.

The Opportunity

Woof is seeking a skilled and creative Jr. Graphic Designer to join our team on a full-time basis. With an emphasis in print and packaging, this role will report into the Print Design Lead, and will be crucial for helping maintain and expand our brand look+feel across multiple platforms, including print, packaging, email, site and social. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating their ability to think critically and strategically, tackling a variety of design challenges.

You'll be responsible for assisting the Print Design Lead in creating and preparing printed materials, as well as designing digital assets as needed across our brand’s owned platforms (i.e. email, organic social, native site assets). Key responsibilities include creating design assets, collaborating with creative + marketing teams, preparing files for print, and ensuring all work aligns with brand guidelines.

What You’ll Own

Print & Packaging Projects:

You’ll support the design team on a wide range of packaging and print initiatives, contributing creative ideas and producing high-quality design assets. You’ll collaborate closely with senior designers, production partners, and cross-functional teams to help bring packaging concepts to life.

  • Packaging design support: Assist in creating packaging concepts, dielines, and visual layouts for new products or refreshed SKUs while ensuring clarity, consistency, and brand alignment.
  • Print collateral: Help develop print materials such as labels, inserts, stickers, hang tags, mailers, and retail display elements.
  • Production-ready files: Prepare and refine files for print, ensuring accuracy in sizing, bleeds, color setup, and print specifications.
  • Design workflow support: Participate in concept development, revisions, and finalization of deliverables while following established processes and timelines.

Daily Improvements:

You’ll contribute to ongoing design needs that keep our brand polished, consistent, and evolving.

  • Updating existing packaging: Make enhancements to existing packaging elements to improve clarity, compliance, or visual appeal.
  • New print components: Create new artwork for packaging elements or printed inserts based on product updates or marketing needs.
  • Brand consistency: Ensure every design follows brand guidelines across color, typography, and layout.
  • Ad-hoc design tasks: Tackle quick-turn requests from the team, such as resizing assets or refreshing simple design elements.

Bigger Projects:

You’ll support broader brand and packaging initiatives that elevate our customer experience and retail presence.

  • Packaging refresh initiatives: Assist in updating the overall look and feel of packaging lines to create a more modern, cohesive aesthetic.
  • Retail design support: Contribute to larger printed brand experiences, such as point-of-sale materials, in-store displays, unboxing experiences, and tradeshow booths.
  • Print audits & quality checks: Help review and audit existing packaging to identify inconsistencies or production issues and recommend improvements.

What You’ll Bring to the Table

  • 1–2+ years of experience in print, packaging, or graphic design (including internships, freelance, or academic project work).
  • A portfolio showcasing strong foundational design skills, particularly in layout, typography, packaging, and print-ready file preparation.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator required; Photoshop & InDesign a plus).
  • Familiarity with print processes, dielines, color systems (CMYK, Spot), and basic production terminology.
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn through feedback and collaboration.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with designers, project managers, and vendors.
  • A passion for developing packaging that is both visually compelling and functional.

Bonus Points If You Have…

  • Worked in the pet industry.
  • Experience with a Shopify-based e-commerce store.
  • Are a dog parent!

What We Offer

  • Hybrid work environment (One day per week in the Brooklyn office)
  • Flexible PTO Policy
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • Employer sponsored 401K
  • Annual compensation range: $60-80K
