At Agile Space Industries, we are propelling the future of space exploration and national security through advanced in-space propulsion solutions. As we continue to scale, we are seeking a Supply Chain Manager onsite in Durango, CO to build and lead a high-performing supply chain function that supports rapid growth, technical complexity, and mission-critical delivery.

This role is responsible for developing and executing supply chain strategy across procurement, supplier management, and inventory planning, ensuring the right materials are available at the right time to support engineering, manufacturing, and test operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute supply chain strategy aligned to company growth, production needs, and program timelines
  • Lead procurement activities across complex hardware, services, and critical components
  • Build and manage supplier relationships, including sourcing, onboarding, performance management, and risk mitigation
  • Drive supplier negotiations, cost optimization, and contract execution in partnership with Finance and Legal
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Test, and Manufacturing to forecast demand and ensure material readiness
  • Establish and improve supply chain processes, systems, and controls to support scale and operational efficiency
  • Work with Project Management Office and manufacturing planning to establish automation of inventory planning, material flow, and logistics based on project demands for development and production environments
  • Identify key supply chain risks, including long-lead items, single-source suppliers, and capacity constraints and build mitigation strategy.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) efforts, ensuring supply chain readiness for novel and early stage concept designs
  • Develop and track key supply chain metrics, including cost, delivery, quality, and supplier performance
  • Build and mentor a growing supply chain team over time
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or sourcing within aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or similar technical environments; 3+ yrs in team leadership roles
  • Experience supporting hardware-based manufacturing programs with complex components and long lead times
  • Strong background in supplier management, negotiations, and sub-contract execution
  • Experience working cross-functionally with project, engineering, manufacturing, and finance teams
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain tools; preferably Deltek

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing environment (aerospace, propulsion systems, or highly regulated environments preferred)
  • Experience building or scaling supply chain functions in a growing organization
  • Background supporting test environments, R&D, or new product development
  • Familiarity with FAR/DFARS and government contracting requirements

Employment Type: Exempt

The expected salary range for this role is $116,000-$174,000 annually. Final compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity, and is typically made within the midrange, rather than the upper end.
