Responsibilities

  • Perform inspection of incoming parts, in-process work, and final product using inspection equipment / gauging.
  • Document inspection results.
  • Review End Item Data Packs and First Article Inspection Reports.
  • Develop and implement quality protocols for manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and project teams to establish quality benchmarks and identify potential improvements.
  • Recommend and implement corrective measures to improve product quality and overall process performance.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
  • Review nonconformance dispositions for compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Collaborate with operations to identify opportunities for improvements to workflow and controls.
  • Accommodate flexible scheduling as dictated by manufacturing needs.
  • Perform receiving and shipping for the PA site.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality assurance, supply chain, or similar field.
  • Knowledge of quality processes and procedures.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards such as ISO 9001 or AS9100.
  • Proficiency using inspection tools and equipment
  • Strong technical writing skills

Employment Type: Exempt

The expected salary range for this role is $81,000-$116,000 annually. Final compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity, and is typically made within the midrange, rather than the upper end.

Work Schedule: Full Time

Location: Onsite Mount Pleasant, PA
