Description:
AGILE is seeking an experienced propulsion engineer who will provide technical experience and depth to a project teams developing a hypergolic in-space propulsion engines. The ideal candidate for this role will have technical experience to provide guidance to other engineers on the program, to make informed architecture decisions, and guide the development process while working as a team member on active product development projects. Critical skillsets being sought after include injector design and combustion devices, regenerative cooling design and analysis, and film cooling design and analysis.
Job Details:
- Review system requirements to define architecture and subsystem architecture.
- Conduct design and analysis of components and subsystems.
- Lead investigations into anomalies and requirement shortfalls.
- Practice critical problem solving, task prioritization, and thorough analysis.
- Iterate engine/feature designs using simulated and real-world test data.
- Create and maintain detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and interface control documents.
- Analyze test data, generate reports, and identify anomalies or areas of improvement.
- Support planning of production integration into spacecraft systems.
Qualifications:
- B.S. or advanced degree in related engineering or technical field
- 10+ Years of experience working on rocket propulsion systems
- Experience leading the end-to-end design and production of in-space propulsion engines.
- Multi-disciplined engineer confident working through ambiguity and uncertainty across complex assignments
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
- Candidate must be a US citizen or permanent resident.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience developing and working with chemical propulsion systems.
- Experience working with or around toxic / hazardous propellants.
- Experience in material selection, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics of rocket engines.
- Proficiency in Solidworks CAD and ANSYS analysis tools
- Experience in designing for advanced materials and manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience with rocket propulsion systems..
AGILE is seeking all senior levels of engineering proficiency to add to the product engineering team.

The salary range for this position is $122,000- $186,000
The salary ranges provided in this job posting are indicative and may be adjusted for individual candidates commensurate with experience or technical capabilities.
