Principal Systems Engineer

Description:
AGILE is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer who will provide system-level analysis on architecture decisions and evaluation of requirement compliance. The ideal candidate for this role will have technical experience to provide guidance to other engineers on system requirement flow downs, to make informed architecture trade studies, and lead verification and validation process. Critical skillsets being sought after include proficiency in requirements and risk management along with system-level fluid and thermal analysis.
Job Details:
- Traceability of system requirements and flow downs.
- Requirement compliance assessment to NASA and other relevant industry standards.
- Conduct trade studies and analyzes for system level architecture decisions.
- Lead verification & validation process and stake holder definition.
- Risk and configuration management.
- Independently analyze elements of a system and recommend alternatives as needed.
- Support test analysis and issue resolution.
- Develop and maintain analysis scripts.
- Provide technical and functional leadership to junior engineers.
Qualifications:
- B.S. or advanced degree in related engineering or technical field.
- 5-10 years of experience in Systems Engineering or Systems Architecture.
- Multi-disciplined engineer confident working through ambiguity and uncertainty across complex assignments.
- Candidate must be a US citizen or permanent resident.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in JAMA or similar requirement management tools.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with NASA or other relevant industry standards.
- Familiarity with Range Safety requirements, such as AFSPCMAN 91-710.
- Experience with leading teams and working with Government customers.
- Experience with Propulsion Systems Engineering is desired.
- Familiarity with fluid and thermal analysis software for system trade studies.
- Experience with life cycle management is desired.
- Clear and concise presentation skills.

The salary range for this position is $110,000-$130,000
